1st edition of the French-Mexican Automotive Forum
On March 15th Mazars was sponsor and speaker at the 1st edition of the Franco-Mexican Automotive Forum, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of San Luis Potosi State Government and the Embassy of France in Mexico, through its Commercial Service Business France, which was held in the Convention Center of San Luis Potosi.
In front of a full audience of domestic, foreign and French automotive companies interested in establishing in Mexico, partners Pilar Castillo and Raul Montemayor, represented Mazars by participating as speakers with the workshop "Venturing into Mexico," which addressed the series of steps for industrial implementation in the country and the overall considerations of the IMMEX program.
The event was inaugurated by Gustavo Orozco Puento, Secretary of Economic Development of San Luis Potosi and Phillipe Garcia, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of France in Mexico. The forum also featured a presentation by experts of the Automotive Cluster SLP, in which they explained the panorama of opportunities and challenges in improving the supply chain in the automotive sector of San Luis Potosi, and a testimony from Steva Group as a foreign company already installed in the country.
Other workshops were taught by Credit Agricole and Exitus Capital, Capin & Robinson and Associates, Michael Page and ProMexico, resulting in a productive session to establish relationships between foreign and domestic companies.
