The Impact of New Mexican Legislation in Companies: Executive Analysis

On January 23rd, Mazars hosted an event attended by CEOs and CFOs, where our experts talked about how New Mexican Legislation can impact their businesses.

The event, which took place at Marriott Reforma in Mexico City, brought together CEOs and CFOs interested in the opinion of our experts.

Luis Vazquez, kicked off the Conference with the topics: Federal Income Law, Non Binding Criteria, and the impact of Miscellaneous Tax Rules implications.



Gerardo Castro continued explaining how the problem involving the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, must be approached holistically, taking into account the entire organization and its processes.



Javier Lopez, talked about the implications of the Federal Law on the Prevention and Identification of Operations with Illicit Resources, which outlined the activities considered vulnerable and the penalties that may be charged.



Last but not least, Heriberto Torres talked about changes on the Constitution and Human Rights and the impact of Labor Law Reform, new labor rights, corporate implications for efficient cost structures, among others.
